So Greg thinks that just because he CAN grow a beard, he SHOULD.
Boys are so stupid.
BUT ... I made him an offer he didn't want to refuse.
And he shaved.
I'm just saying.
And today it snowed and I thought how his cute little cheeks must be oh so cold ... I'm such a terrible, mean, and manipulative wife ... thoughtless and cruel.
But I really do think he looks cuter with a goatee.

Although men tend to be more visually oriented in their attraction to their spouse, I do think women have a right to object to a husband changing his facial hair the way I believe man has a right to object to a wife changing/cutting her hair. (Of course, each spouse is free do to what they want, ultimately... I'm just saying a spouse SHOULD defer to their spouse on this area.)
Even though women don't tend to be as visually oriented as men, their husband's facial hair can make... um... certain things... less comfortable.
Which brings me to your offer he couldn't refuse. I hope it was positive reinforcement instead of negative. There are at least two things you can do to help keep his cheeks warm. That's all I have to say about that here. ;-)

Goatees are pretentious.
Of course there is no law about a man being able to object to his wife changing her hair. It is just nice for a woman to consider her husband's feelings, and if he says he doesn't want her to significantly change her hair, then she shouldn't... out consideration for her husband.
For most men, a woman's hair is part of what attracted him to her in the first place. For example... he likes long hair, and she had long hair.
Then they get married, and... she chops off her hair. Yeah, short hair is easier to deal with... especially if you have kids. Well, there are a lot of things where it is easier to do things "your way" even though your spouse would prefer otherwise.
If a wife has made it clear that she likes her man clean-shaven, and he married her that way, then he shouldn't let the facial hair grown in out of laziness.
