I love my Olay Deep Cleaning Face Wash with Witch Hazel. It thoroughly removes dirt, oil, and make-up and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. Great product, I highly recommend it! Even my husband uses it (shh, don't tell anyone).
But it tends to dry my skin out quite a bit.
So I moisturize with Dove Deep Moisture Facial Lotion with SPF 15. I love the Dove company's everyone is beautiful marketing. Makes me feel so good about myself, just the way I am.
But the lotion makes me a little spotty (that's British for "my face freaking breaks out").
So I went to the dermatologist and he prescribed a brilliant product called Duac Topical Gel. It has 1% clindamycin (an antibiotic) and 5% benzoyl peroxide (an acid). It's smooth, not gritty, and blends nicely into the skin.
But my spot problem is really a hormone problem. And the good zit drugs make baby boys look like baby girls ... I'd like a regular baby girl thanks.
So, as I wait for the damn spots to go away, I cover the blemishes (and by blemishes, I mean my whole cute face) with Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind foundation - porcelain ivory, SPF 18. I AM 30 now, so products designed to firm and radify my skin are a must.
But liquid foundation makes my skin kind of shiny.
So I use Cover Girl Trublend Pressed Powder, translucent fair. It's light and matte, leaves me looking flawless. I reapply about every time I go into my bathroom, y'know, so I don't get shiny.
But by the end of the day, my face feels so grimy and gross...
Good thing I have the Olay Deep Cleansing Face Wash. With Witch Hazel.

And that would be why I don't wear makeup.
