Walking In The Rain

Feeling sad? Try taking a 3 yr old out for a rainy day walk. It'll cheer you up quick!

And if you do it on garbage day, you can chase the garbage lady all the way up the cul-de-sac and back, watching every neighbors garbage go into the truck.

Hot Chocolate will warm you back up.

But you better go while you can. In Utah, you never know when it's going to snow some more!

*Thanks so much to Phannie at You Don't Have To Can To Get To Heaven. Love that blog. Taking advice is fun.

Sound like you had fun. Isn't weather odd! Last Friday it snowed, yesterday and today we are having record highs 83 degrees, and by Friday we have a chance of snow, Noooooo.

Well atleast you were chasing because you WANTED to and not because you HAD to...which we have had to do. I have chased down garbage trucks enough times that at one time, my son wanted to grow up to be "the garbage man!"

Imagine the possibilities. LOL

My kids love walks in the rain - and it does cheer you up when you're having a bad day. I'll have to remember that when the weather turns again. Stupid, unpredictable spring weather! Catching worms and chasing garbage trucks - Dylan and Cannon may very well be kindred spirits. Seriously, we have to sit out on the porch every week as the garbage truck drives by and watch every can get dumped. Good times!

You have a garbage lady? I've never in my life seen one. I thought they were a theoretical equal-opportunity myth. Good for her!

It's a great job, and you really don't have to lift anything anymore. Or put my f***ing garbage cans back where they go.

I love that lots of people walk in the rain. In my neighborhood there isn't many people that do.

I will have to remember to watch the garbage trucks with my kids when I have them.
