Addled brain.
No ability to project, think ahead, consequate results.
Don't blog when your sick:
1. Your typing, wiping your drippy nose, then typing more ... then scratching your nose and eyes.
2. How can you think straight thoughts when your house sounds like this:
3. Inappropriate does not necessarily equal funny.
4. I am sorry. Mostly, I apologize to my poor, patient husband. But everyone else, too. If you are utterly confused, all the better. If you know what I mean, please, pretend it NEVER happened. It never happened.
For the last post ... I wasn't saying that liberals are cruel or that Rush Limbaugh is wise ... I was more saying that the welfare system, though it has good intentions and may provide people with a basic standard of living, should not be a permanent solution to poverty (there are cases where people may need permanent assistance, but able bodied/minded folk can and should earn their way in life.)
Life is hard work.
My husband is a video game programmer. People assume he plays video games all day, that his job is fun and easy. But, by Jango, he works hard. He loves his field and his job, but it's still hard work, long hours, brain power, math, computer stuff.
If you follow your natural inclinations (not the one to be lazy, but the one where you find something you actually want to do) and get in that field, you'll work hard, but be happy.
Also, whatever you ARE doing, you choose to be happy or not, whether it's School Janitor's Summer Assistant, McDonald's, helping an old relative, Washing Dishes, Flipping Pizzas, Retail Sales, Accounting Clerk, Dental Research Shipping and Receiving girl, Temp, putting up sales signs, or Stay-at-Home parent (that was my life resume, btw) you do get to choose if you're happy or not.
So, blert ... my head is stuffed, my eye itches, my throat is sandpaper, shards of glass nailed to sandpaper ... I need some drugs ...
Don't feel obligated to blog when you are sick. If I'm just making it worse, leave me be for a few days and see if I get better.
AND
Consciously choose to be happy.
2 Brilliant Bits of Inspiration:
Wow, your blogs have become quite the internet scandel lately!
I really don't see why that last one was so offensive. My boyfriend's best friend is a huge Rush Limbaugh followerer. But the thing about Rush is he is just some super opinionated guy, not the voice of god. You may agree with something he says every now and again, but it's just food for thought to be taken with a grain of salt. It's not political truth just someone voicing their opinion.
Freedom of speech, one of the great reasons for being an American- it doesn't matter if people hate what you say/ write, your allowed to and you don't have to apologize for your words and thoughts.
I don't think you should have to apologize for your opinion. And, also, I agree:)
I've been thinking about this alot lately and I'm wondering if it comes down to asking our Federal Gov't to take care of people instead of taking care of them ourselves. Instead of asking big daddy to step in, what if we lived in communities that had to pitch in..would we do it or do we need the fed programs? B/c if we did keep it local, I think it would be so much more humanizing...and compassionate.
