"Este Blog premia el arte y la creatividad"I think it means I'm creative-ish? I'm breastfeeding as I type this, and with satin pajama pants, too. But not talented enough to figure out how to get that little award picture onto my post here ... wait .. maybe .....
Oh, and I "get" to pick 5 more blogs upon which to bestow this honor. But I 'm not sure I can think of 5 "premia el arte y la creatividad" - not that I don't think all the blogs I regularly read are fabulous, but "premia el arte y la creatividad?" I'm not even sure what that means something like best arty and creative ... and I'm not even sure I belong there, pretty sure I don't.
BUT this is more about nepotism and recommending blogs we like, giving people exposure (thanks) and such, so, here I go:
1. Cheerio Road is often quite creative and always a pleasure to read. Karen has been very sweet to me, with encouraging and honest comments.
2. Maw Books Blog because I love to read and she keep recommending books to put on my list. If only I had time to sit and read something besides Orson Scott Card short stories.
3. Our Name Is Blog is a new (to me) blog I've been enjoying. It makes me laugh and has lots of purple.
And that's all I can think of to award, I'm sorry, I'm no good at this following rules for internet blog awards. Because I have job interviews to prepare for. And it kind of depresses me.
For the winners, here are the rules for this award:
1. Pick five blogs you consider deserving of this award, whether for creativity, design, interesting material, or contributions to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Name each nominee and link to his/her blog.
3. Show the award and include the name (and link to his/her blog) of whoever presented you with this award.
4. Link to the Arte y Pico blog so everyone knows the origin of this award.
5. Post these rules.
If you already have this award, you only have to accept this additional recognition.
5 Brilliant Bits of Inspiration:
I'd like to thank all the people who made this possible, especially Mr. Kubinec, my fifth grade AP English teacher, who made me read Walden Pond. Oh- and you Mrs. B! Thanks so much for including me on your blog!!
My goodness. And I thought all you were serving over here was Rice and Beans, Beans and Rice! I am overjoyed to be considered often quite creative and for what it is worth, I visit here because you make me laugh even when you cry. Now let's all get to work!
Your inability to follow Internet blog award rules just might win you a Biggest Maverick award for your blog.
I have special needs ...
Thanks! I'm feeling honored. Now if I can find the time to pass it on myself. . .
