Economically Stimulated

Hee hee.

When I looked at my bank account this morning, an amazing thing had happened. My good friend, George W. Bush, had given ME a lovely gift of $1,800. That's a lot of money! Now I can stimulate the economy for him. Well, after I pay off a couple of those high-interest-emergency loans I had to take out to off-set the rising costs of gas, food, living expenses (like trips to the OBGYN), and such. Right, and then, there are several credit cards I better make extra payments on, since they are all at their limit. And I got a parking ticket at the train parking yesterday because my plates were expired - I was waiting for the stimulus package to come in so I could take care of that.

BUT after I take care of all those, I'll be right there at the gas pump paying $3.57/Gallon and then off to the grocery store to pay $2.99/Gallon for milk (if only my car ran on milk, I could save $.58/gallon), $2.19/dz for eggs, and $4-5/big cheap bag for cereal, $2.99/loaf for my favorite bread, and $8.99/2 lb loaf for cheddar cheese.

Good thing George sent me all this free money, I can hardly afford life, what with this war and recession he's gotten us in to. Now, I must try really hard NOT to think about where the money came from or how it will be paid back. When you sell your soul to the devil, it's best not to think about your commitment until it's time to, you know, suck it; just enjoy the ride. Like a good American should.
