less is MORE

It's good that children don't remember much, if anything, before they can speak. The burden of obligation, child to parent, is great enough.

It's good that children don't remember how many times mom and dad "let" them fall down the stairs. There is plenty of time to build up resentments later.

It's good that parents forget how much sleep they gave up to get children to sleep. Or China's one child thing might be a lot more popular.

It's unfortunate that I can't write good.
