Be Kind to the Hobo, He Might Also Be Your Kid's Teacher

If there was only one blogist I wish I could emulate, it's Hobo Teacher. I lost all my bookmarked sites a while back and have refound most, but it was just today that I Goggled Hobo Teacher and caught up with the old chap.

His entries are flawless: short, concise, well spelled, and always make me laugh (not out loud, of course, but inside my head) and, MOST importantly, keep me wanting more.

Mine own are ramblely, overly personal, preachy, and/or random, and usually too long (sometimes I hit the page down button instead of the delete button, then I give up and let it be).

What's the quote for the day? If it takes a lot of words to say what you have in mind, give it more thought. ~Dennis Roth (no relation, that I know of).

Here's a close second:
The most valuable of all talents is that of never using two words when one will do. ~Thomas Jefferson. But, alas, neither of these was the one I was thinking of.

Here and here are some more good quotes, in case you, like me, are not only verbose, but wordy, loquacious, tedious, garrulous or just plain feel like you have to use a lot of words when less would be better (and, yes, I did spend 5 freaking minutes looking for that blasted thesaurus to finish this line, thank you very much!).
